WGA Advisors seeks an Engagement Manager to lead consulting projects within the Pharma and MedTech industries. This role is critical for clients undergoing significant transformations in operations and technology. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing consulting engagements, with a deep understanding of the challenges and innovations driving the Pharma and MedTech sectors. You will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving the adoption of strategic initiatives that align with our clients’ goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership and Delivery: Oversee the execution of consulting engagements from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the key point of contact and ensuring all aspects of the project align with their strategic objectives.
Strategic Consulting: Provide expert advice on operational improvements, technological innovations, and strategic initiatives tailored to the Pharma and MedTech industries.
Team Coordination and Development: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and facilitating professional growth and skill development.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders across all levels of the client organization to ensure buy-in, support, and successful implementation of project outcomes.
Market Insight: Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory challenges, and technological advancements in Pharma and MedTech, leveraging this knowledge to inform project strategies and client recommendations.
Operational Excellence: Utilize project management best practices and methodologies to streamline project execution and enhance delivery efficiency.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and address potential risks to project success, implementing strategies to mitigate impact and safeguard project outcomes.
Innovation and Improvement: Champion innovation by identifying opportunities for clients to leverage new technologies and processes for competitive advantage.
Business Development: Contribute to business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and assisting in the preparation of proposals and pitches to expand WGA Advisors’ presence in the Pharma and MedTech sectors.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Engineering, or a related field.

– Minimum of 10 years’ experience in consulting with tier-1 consulting firms, with significant exposure to the Pharma and MedTech industries.

– Proven track record of managing and delivering complex consulting engagements, with strong project management skills.

– Deep industry knowledge of Pharma and MedTech, including regulatory environments, market trends, and technological advancements.

– Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a history of developing high-performing teams.

– Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing clients and stakeholders.

– Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a focus on delivering practical, innovative solutions.

– Availability to travel as required to meet client needs and project demands.
