After we had multiple supply disruptions and missed customer ship dates, we uncovered several weaknesses in our manufacturing network design. Though we were able to resolve some short term issues, it was clear we needed outside expertise. We originally asked a large consulting firm to develop a new design strategy but what we got was a generic solution.
